One such young talent of this generation who might have a connection with a former famous personality is a 20-year-old Serie C player.
The Italy-born player Romano Floriani Mussolini is currently loaned out by the Seria A club Lazio FC. The player is being loaned to the Pescara, which is a Serie C Group B club. The 20-year-old prominently plays as a right-back but can play the role of a right midfielder as well.
As per the reports, the right-back is the son of Romano Mussolini, who was a renowned Italian Piano player and a movie producer. Reportedly, he was the child of Benito Mussolini. So, as per the further reports, the 20-year-old Romano Floriani Mussolini is the great-grandson of Benito Mussolini.
Benito Mussolini was a former Italian dictator. Reports say he was also a journalist and the founder of the National Fascist Party. Benito also served as the Prime Minister of Italy for a period of about 21 years. He was on the throne of the country from 1922 to the year 1943.
Reports also state that he was a socialist legislator. Benito Mussolini braced the Fascist movement internationally during the period of inter-conflict. Being born in July 1883 in Italy, he reportedly died at the age of around 61 years in April 1945.

It can be inferred that despite belonging to a non-sports background or family, Romano Floriani Mussolini did choose soccer as a career. The 20-year-old has basically started his soccer journey in his home country of Italy.
The right-back on loan from Lazio represents the Italian club Pescara in the Serie C since August 2023. His current loan period with the club reportedly expires in June 2024. The defender’s current market value is touted to be around $72.01k.
Romano has so far made four appearances for Pescara in the Serie C. He also played two matches for the club in the Coppa Serie C 2023-2024. The player is yet to make his debut in the Italy Cup 2023-2024 for Pescara. In these matches played for the club till now, the player hasn’t had a goal or an assist to his name as of yet.
However, some reports do suggest that the youngster has several skills and abilities that make him a unique player. It can be termed that, a decent season with Pescara could get the right-back in contention for a place in the playing eleven of his parent Seria A club Lazio FC.
