Jennifer Lopez thought performing with Shakira at the Super Bowl was the “worst idea in the world”
Gerard Pique‘s ex Shakira and singer Jennifer Lopez combined to give the fans a magical performance at the 2020 Super Bowl. They both created an ethereal atmosphere for the fans while leaving everyone stunned by their performance.
The performance was considered one of the most memorable performances at the Super Bowl. However, Lopez has shed some light on what went on behind the scenes for the performance. And it does not seem as magical as the stage they presented.
Fun music fact of the day,
The most expensive Super Bowl halftime show was in 2020 by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. This show cost $13 million to put on .#Shakria #JLo #SuperBowl pic.twitter.com/bQwFgqB8vq— TrilliumSchoolsofMusic (@FairlawnMusic) June 5, 2023
The singer revealed, “Two people performing at the Super Bowl is the worst idea in the world. We have six minutes – 30 seconds of a song and if we take one minute, that’s it, we have five minutes left.
“We have to have our moment. It’s not going to be a f***ing dance revue. Having two people perform at the Super Bowl is the worst idea in the world and it was.”
Jennifer Lopez shared her experience of performing at the Super Bowl in her Netflix documentary called ‘Halftime’. Both singers have been in the industry for a long time now. However, there is no rivalry between them.
That’s for sure how disrespectful it is. Same has making Shakira and Jennifer Lopez perform together when Shakira could’ve done alone. Miley has an incredible catalog no need to share unless it’s a duo with robin Thicke https://t.co/6Zjr5Znc33

Lopez however, believed that having them together at the Super Bowl was one of the worst ideas ever. Even though, they faced some problems behind the scenes, both of them still managed to create a stunning performance at Super Bowl.
