The response for Tamba is because Sadio Mané is highly regarded in Senegal. Mane has been one of the biggest exports to European soccer and has given so much back to the community in his playing years. The wedding reports have also been well received within Senegal, which is a stark contrast to Europe and the USA.
Mane married Tamba in a private ceremony held in Dakar, Senegal. The ceremony came six days before the start of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON). Senegal are the defending champions and Mane has traveled to the Ivory Coast after the wedding to join his teammates for AFCON.
