IShowSpeed has once again left the soccer world in splits after his hilarious interaction with Arsene Wenger went viral. Speed, who has become quite popular in a very short time, was part of the “Match for Hope”. It was a charity soccer match where several content creators and soccer legends came together to raise money. However, Speed rather characteristically had a series of viral moments.
The “Match for Hope”, hosted at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Qatar, had several soccer icons returning to action. The game was headlined by two content creators, Chunkz and AboFlah, who built their team. Team Chunkz was led by the legendary soccer manager Arsene Wenger, while Team AboFlah had the veteran Italian coach Antonio Conte leading the lines.

Moreover, there were players like Roberto Carlos, Kaka, Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba, David Villa, and so on. While there were several hilarious moments from the “Match for Hope”, one incident stood out in particular. A clip of IShowSpeed, who was on Team Chunkz, interacting with his coach for the day, Arsene Wenger, has been making the rounds on the Internet.
In the clip, Speed was spotted giving tactical suggestions to Wenger. Speed said to Wenger, “I am good at left wing, I am very fast.” He further advised Wenger to deploy the 4-3-3 formation. However, the soccer fans weren’t amused by Speed’s antics. While one fan even reacted to the incident by saying, “What is wrong with Speed?“, others were simply stunned to see Wenger getting advice from Speed who’s still a novice in the game.
IShowSpeed was recently humiliated by Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
While IShowSpeed might have been advising Arsene Wenger, he was recently embarrassed by Cristiano Ronaldo‘s son. The American YouTuber went to watch Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr humiliate Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami 6-0. He was also spotted catching up with Ronaldo’s son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., at Al-Nassr’s academy where the latter is currently enrolled at.

Speed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., also played a soccer match against Ronaldo Jr. It’s fair to say Speed was completely humiliated by Ronaldo Jr.’s skills. The 14-year-old’s tricks and nutmegs left Speed scrambling on the floor. Besides the soccer match, Darren also got the opportunity to hang out with Ronaldo Jr. at the Portuguese skipper’s house.
A look at Arsene Wenger’s achievements and honors
It appears as if IShowSpeed isn’t quite familiar with Arsene Wenger’s glittering resume. Wenger, who coached Team Chunkz and Speed at the “Match for Hope”, is currently serving as FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development. However, Wenger is also one of the best soccer coaches of his time and in the history of the game.
Wenger spent 22 years as the head coach of the Premier League giants Arsenal. He won the Premier League thrice, seven FA Cups, and seven Community Shield titles. In addition to this, Wenger’s Arsenal holds the record for being the only team to score in every game of a Premier League season. He also became one of the very few managers whose team went an entire league season undefeated (via Premier League).
Wenger also holds the record for managing the most games (828) in the history of the Premier League. Lastly, the veteran French coach has won a series of individual recognitions. These include three Premier League Manager of the Season awards, IFFHS World Coach of the Decade, Laureus Lifetime Achievement Award, and was voted by France Football as the 36th Greatest Manager of All Time.
