Prime owner and famous YouTuber KSI has opened up about his regret for ‘bullying’ Manchester City star Erling Haaland in one of his videos. The striker has been the talk of the town ever since his first season last year for his phenomenal impact on the team as well as the league overall.
In a recent interview with Haaland, KSI admitted that he regretted trolling Haaland and saying that the Norwegian would have a trophy-less season. Logan was wearing an Arsenal jersey, which the striker appreciated. This was the first time he referred to the video that the YouTuber made to mock him. When Logan Paul, pointed the jersey to the former Borussia Dortmund striker, he said, “I always liked that especially after the video.”
KSI was then questioned by his fellow owner about his behavior towards the striker in the above-mentioned video. To this, the YouTube star replied, “Ya I remember that video, it was when Arsenal was flying, was no. 1. I shot the video and said that Man City won’t win no Premier League, no Champions League, and no FA cup. And then one afternoon you know what happened. Everything changed. Honestly, he (Haaland) told me that my video motivated him to score more goals.”
The creator also mentioned that the video was meant for just the striker and wasn’t actually public content. Haaland then jokingly asked KSI why he targeted him or what has he done to get such a video. To this, the YouTuber said, “It was sky-high and was smashing it, and I thought all of a sudden that I would create the video and send it to him, it’s going with none. But then he turned into a robot and crushed my dreams.”
KSI is a well-known Gunners supporter and was reportedly looking forward to his club returning to their previous glory last season. Arsenal were showing all signs of winning the league in the first part of the season. But Haaland’s brute force and goalscoring ability helped Manchester City close down the gap between them and the Gunners. Later, they passed them on the points table and lifted the Premier League trophy again.
Last season was the first of Haaland’s career with Manchester City. But his stats for the club said otherwise. He played around 53 matches for the club and scored 52 goals. He also had nine assists under his belt. This season too, the striker has had an electrifying start, where he has played six matches for the English club, scored six goals, assisting one.
