Roman Reigns became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38 after defeating Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title. He won the Universal Title in 2020 and recently completed 1000 days with the title on May 27. The Tribal Chief celebrated his accomplishment on the latest episode of SmackDown, where he was presented with a new title by Triple H.

However, the design of the new title has not sat well with the WWE Universe. They lambasted the design on Twitter and even questioned why it was called the undisputed title when it was only one belt. Some fans also compared it to the World Heavyweight Championship that Seth Rollins recently won at Night of Champions. Other fans were of the opinion that Roman Reigns deserved a better-looking title, and WWE’s recent title designs have all flopped.
Pretty generic, plain and ugly
The world heavyweight championship looks like it has prestige and lineageThe undisputed universal championship hits like a fly landing on a pile of sunbaked, steaming rotten roadkill

Reigns is reportedly set to defend his title either at Money in the Bank or at SummerSlam. Whatever the case may be, after being presented with the new title, speculation is rife that he may hold it for much longer than previously thought. The Tribal Chief is currently fifth on the list of longest-reigning world champions in WWE history, sitting behind Pedro Morales. Morales’ reign ended at 1027 days, and Reigns is only 20 days behind and is slated to overtake him.
Roman Reigns had a showdown with The Usos on the latest episode of SmackDown
While the 1000-day title celebrations were ongoing on SmackDown, it was made clear by Roman Reigns that he did not want The Usos anywhere near him on the show. This comes after Jimmy Uso superkicked The Tribal Chief at Night of Champions, turning on him after several weeks of ill-treatment.
However, despite the warning, Jimmy and Jey showed up on the blue brand. Jimmy stated that he did not want to do this and only wanted to tell Reigns that he was not treating them like brothers. The former tag team champion stated that he wanted to come back to his family and even extended a handshake. During the conversation, Solo Sikoa also turned on Roman and stated that he would take the side of his brothers.

A distraught Roman Reigns understood his mistakes and went on to hug Jimmy Uso. However, it was all a ruse, as he stated that he did not want to join forces with them again. Solo then swerved and turned on his brothers to deliver a Samoan Spike to Jimmy. The Bloodline saga has massively intensified, and it remains to be seen how the family members will deal with this animosity.
