Rodtang Jitmuangnon picks his winner at ONE Friday Fights 46
Rodtang Jitmuangnon provided some detailed analysis on the highly anticipated fight between Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Superbon Singha Mawynn.
In an interview with Combat Press, the 26-year-old admitted struggling to pick between his fellow-Thai superstars.
“My prediction for this fight is 50-50. If I have to take a side, my bet is on Superbon. But again, everything can happen in the ring. That’s why I said my prediction for this fight is 50-50. But I believe Superbon may use his experience to dominate Tawanchai,” he said.
The 33-year-old Superbon might have the edge in experience over his 24-year-old compatriot, but by Rodtang’s estimation, there is one weapon that could be the deciding factor.

“Nobody can match Superbon’s high kick,” he continued. “When Tawanchai throws his high kick, I can see it coming. But I can’t see Superbon’s kick. His kick is as fast as lightning, and it’ll land on your face before you know it. I had an opportunity to spar with Superbon, and I got hit by his high kicks more than 10 times. You never see it coming. He works really hard to develop this kind of deadly kick. And he can do it naturally. He can send people to sleep anytime.”
Rodtang was not the only victim of Superbon’s much vaunted high kick. The former featherweight kickboxing king has also used the strike to great effect in competition.

Most recently, he dispatched Tayfun Ozcan with a show-stopping head kick. Superbon sent the Turkish striker crashing to the canvas early in the second round of their June encounter, prompting the referee to wave off the contest instantly.
Tawanchai, for his part, is riding a six-fight winning streak and returns to defend his featherweight Muay Thai strap after two thrilling victories under kickboxing rules so far in 2023.
