PJ Tucker has been quite the character in the league for several years. Though he came into the league in 2006, the veteran spent some time overseas. After this, he left the league to pursue a career overseas and won several accolades. PJ returned to the NBA in 2012.
He signed a two-year deal worth $1.6 million to play for the Phoenix Suns. He eventually signed another deal worth $16.5 million for three years and then was retained on a one-year deal in 2016 which was for $3.7 million. In 2017, he signed a $31.8 million deal with the Houston Rockets for three years. He was retained for another year for $4.7 million but got traded to the Milwaukee Bucks midway through the season.

Eventually, he found his way onto the Miami Heat’s roster where he played for one year. He accepted $7 million for his contributions and declined a player option that was offered. PJ Tucker ended up signing a three-year $33 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. He was traded to the LA Clippers after playing one season. In 2019, PJ Tucker was having the best time of his career with the Houston Rockets. It was around this time that he managed to ink a deal with Nike, one of the biggest sponsors of the NBA. Despite meeting with brands like Puma, Adidas, and Reebok, he settled for Nike as it made the most sense. He is on a multi-year deal with the brand but the details of his contract were never disclosed.
PJ signed an influencer-style deal with eBay. During the 2019-20 season, the entire world got to discover Tucker’s love for sneakers. EBay thought signing a deal with him would help boost shoe sales. PJ is rumored to have an estimated 5,000 pairs of shoes. He has also partnered with Foot Locker in the past as well. The values of these deals have not been revealed to the public.
