ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Demetrious Johnson appreciates the striking arts in ONE Championship, and this past week he took to his YouTube channel to analyze the great skills of former ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn.
Superbon returns to the ring this Friday, December 22, to challenge ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai for his gold at Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 46.

Ahead of the battle, “Mighty Mouse” showed his admiration for the striking superstar. From one combat sports legend to another, Johnson was very complimentary about the skill set Superbon has acquired – namely his ferocious high kicks that have scored him plenty of highlight-reel knockouts over the years.
“You have to keep your hands up when you fight this guy. That’s how he knocked out Giorgio Petrosyan and Tayfun Ozcan. One thing he does very well is he throws beautiful high kicks. This dude is insane!” Johnson said on his Mighty Gaming YouTube channel.
Johnson has always followed multiple disciplines throughout his time in ONE. It’s given him the chance to introduce combat sports stars to new fans. And with ONE Friday Fights 46 this week, it’s just in time for new fans to tune in to the Muay Thai mega-fight.
Demetrious Johnson analyzes Superbon’s knockout of Tayfun Ozcan
When former ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn met Tayfun Ozcan this past June at ONE Fight Night 11, the result was another highlight-reel knockout added to the Thai’s resume – and ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Demetrious Johnson broke it down on YouTube.
“Mighty Mouse” took to his YouTube channel, Mighty Gaming, to analyze the fight and the second-round knockout ahead of Superbon’s return to action this Friday, 22 December, at ONE Friday Fights 46 against ONE featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai PK Saenchai.
“Tayfun comes in with a beautiful combination, but he would have been better off staying on him. You can’t give Superbon the space. Fighters can get lazy, and that’s what happened here,” Johnson said.
“The distance was perfect for Superbon to throw that kick. He goes for a high kick on the counter every time. Ozcan backs out and Superbon came through the guard. Superbon is known for that.”
“If you’re going to exchange with Superbon, you have to have your hands up high. Because if you don’t, a kick is going to come through every time and knock you out.”
The second-round knockout was a prompt response to Superbon’s ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title defeat to Chingiz Allazov last January. And if Superbon can dethrone Tawanchai at ONE Friday Fights 46, he’ll enter a new realm of greatness with the weight bracket’s featherweight Muay Thai gold laced over his shoulder.
