Following the conclusion of his college football career, Nathan Rourke returned to Canada to join the CFL. In the 2020 draft, he was chosen as the 15th overall pick by his hometown team, the BC Lions. Throughout the 2021 season, he completed 52 passes for a total of 754 yards, achieving three touchdowns.
