Jake Browning is a quarterback who plays with the National Football League (NFL) team, the Cincinnati Bengals. He played college football for the Washington Huskies football team at the University of Washington. Browning was picked up by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in the 2019 NFL Draft.
He had a flourishing career in high school at Folsom High School, located in California. Jake Browning was an impressive student as well and had a 4.0 GPA. Browning completed 1,191 passes out of 1,708 pass attempts for 16,775 passing yards along with 229 touchdowns. He successfully managed to break the touchdown record previously held by Maty Mauk.
He continued to break records in his senior year with 91 touchdown passes and 5,790 passing yards. Going into college, Browning was rated as a four-star recruit. For his fantastic performances, he was awarded the Gatorade Football Player of the Year.

Coming out of high school, Jake Browning decided to play for the Washington Huskies football program. At the University of Washington, he was enrolled in the Business Administration course at the Foster School of Business. He became the second ever UW Huskies player to start at the quarterback position in his freshman season.
He had a decent freshman year, recording 150 passing yards and completing 20 out of 34 pass attempts, along with one interception. Browning came to the forefront in his sophomore year and fully took charge. He led the UW Huskies to their first conference championship since 2000, as they finished with a 12-2 overall record.

An example to show how good he was would be his touchdowns per attempt rate, which was 12.2%. No wonder he was in the running to lift the Heisman Trophy, as he finished sixth in the final ranking. He received Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year and first-team all-Pac-12 honors as well.
Jake Browning completed 230 passes out of 336 attempts for 2719 passing yards and 19 touchdowns in his junior year. He recorded just a few fine interceptions throughout the season. Featuring in all the games for the season, Browning received Academic All-Pac-12 second-team honors and was an honorable mention All-Pac-12.
Browning finished his college career on a high, completing 252 out of 388 pass attempts with 3,192 passing yards. The Huskies won the 2018 Pac-12 Football Championship Game against Utah. Furthermore, they managed to win the Rose Bowl after defeating Ohio State University. Personal records were broken with Browning becoming the all-time passing leader for the University of Washington.
