Bray Wyatt is no longer in the world, as the former leader of ‘The Wyatt Family’ passed away untimely after suffering a heart attack. However, The Eater of Worlds leaves behind a legendary legacy as a long-time WWE servant, as he was associated with the promotion for over a decade.
Wyatt‘s creative character grabbed fans’ attention throughout his stint with Triple H’s company, but another thing that made him a topic of discussion was his relationship with Vince McMahon. A lot of people have shared different opinions on their relationships, and The Fiend’s former partner, Matt Hardy, shared some interesting insights about it.
This happened during a May 2022 episode of the former WWE star’s show, ‘Extreme Life of Matt Hard’, as Matt talked briefly about his time working with Wyatt. The legendary performer revealed that he was the front character for some of the conversations Bray had with Mr. McMahon and disclosed how Vince’s feelings for Bray before his death, felt strange to him.
Hardy said, “It was almost like a really weird, a really strange and different duality that Vince shared with Bray. When he liked him or loved him, he was all about him. But when he disliked him, oh my god, it was really bad and he would like punish him and insult him“. (Via: Bleacher Report)
It must be noted that before joining forces, Bray and ‘Woken’ Matt were involved in a bitter rivalry, which helped them show their creative sides against each other. But they eventually teamed up and won the Raw Tag Team titles at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah on April 27, 2018.
Vince McMahon considered Bray Wyatt an exceptional WWE talent
The 48-year-old expressed his views about Vincent’s strange feelings about the late pro wrestler during the conversation on his YouTube channel. But the former Cruiserweight Champion also revealed that Vince McMahon considered Bray Wyatt an exceptional WWE talent.
He claimed that Vince treated Wyatt like a son and used to be immensely happy when the former WWE Champion did things that Kennedy liked. When the Executive Chairman used to get overwhelmed by Bray’s performances, he used to do everything he possibly could.
Vince saw The Fiend as a top guy in the Stamford-based promotion and gave him a lot of opportunities to be in the spotlight. Whether it’s sharing the stage with legends such as The Undertaker and The Rock or having title runs with the company’s top prize. All such things showcase clearly how valuable Bray was in the eyes of Mr. McMahon.
Despite being a prominent name in the Triple H-led promotion for a long time, there were a lot of things for him to accomplish. But all such plans were cut short when WWE’s Creative Head Triple H announced the sudden death of Bray Wyatt, as the late superstar left behind his wife JoJo and a beautiful family.
