In shocking news, Triple H was recently reported to be out of WWE’s Board of Directors. This decision was something everyone has been criticizing due to the kind of commitment he has shown towards improving the promotion’s product.
The Game has been serving on the Board of Directors since 2015, but he’ll soon be removed from this position. Even though he’ll no longer be a part of the board, he’ll always be remembered for what he has done throughout his stint. One of the best things he did was talk wholeheartedly about other Superstars and their careers.
In a similar incident, Triple H once talked about an absent WWE star and claimed that “he is a victim of his own mind“. The performer was none other than Bray Wyatt, and The Game revealed his thoughts about The Fiend during an interview with Ariel Helwani on BT Sport.
Triple H said, “One of the most. I mean this in the best way possible, crazy, creative people I’ve ever been around. His mind(referring to Bray) just never stops thinking of creative. But it’s like being in a whirlwind of stuff, so without the harness and without somebody to point the tornado, it’s just all over the place [laughs]. He’s a victim of his own mind and his creative, and it’s just everywhere“.
While Hunter claimed Wyatt to be a victim of his own mind, he also praised him for the incredibly creative ideas he came up with during his stint with the Stamford-based promotion. Bray Wyatt is currently absent from WWE TV, as he hasn’t made an on-screen appearance since February 2023. It’ll be interesting to be seen what the future holds for the former Wyatt Family leader.
Triple H re-hired Bray Wyatt
The Game’s comments about Bray Wyatt were from September 2022, which was over a year after The Fiend’s surprising departure from the Triple-H-led promotion in July 2021. However, these words of praise turned out to be more than just an interview, as The Eater of the World returned to the promotion later that year.
Wyatt made a surprising return to the Stamford-based promotion on October 8, 2022, at WWE Extreme Rules. His return segment was one of the most epic returns in recent years, and fans were overjoyed to see the former Wyatt Family leader in Triple H’s company.
His return was another addition to the list of previously released superstars who were rehired by the promotion. Thus, Triple H was the obvious name behind rehiring Bray Wyatt and making him an immensely important member of the Stamford-based promotion‘s main roster.
Although Wyatt’s return was spectacular in itself, his run after that hasn’t been that great. The Fiend was expected to finally get his hands on the top prize in the promotion after his return, but he hasn’t even been among the challengers. After suffering a career and life-threatening injury in the first quarter of 2023, Wyatt is fit for in-ring action now, but no confirmation about his return date has been made. It remains to be seen how he’ll be handled after his return.
