- The WWE Hall of Famer's track has a lot to say about The Hulkster, so let's check out everything that he mentioned in it.
WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi is one of the biggest names of the legendary Anoaʻi family in the professional wrestling industry. The 58-year-old retired from in-ring competition a long time ago, but his career outside of wrestling has also been highly successful, as he runs his own podcast and is also into music and rap.
In the latest addition to his list of songs, the former Intercontinental Champion has recently released a new diss track “The Sultan.” Alongside paying a tribute to The Iron Sheik with this songs, the veteran has dissed the legendary Hulk Hogan through this latest song.
In the initial seconds of the track, the veteran says, “Come on. Because you don’t believe that animal, Hulk Hogan, for no reason. Because I don’t know the guy, I never met the guy. I think I should have wrapped him in that part, but back on again now. Mr. Hogan, you are big for a mother.” And, after this it just continued.
Hip Hop music has always been apart of my life. When I started my wrestling journey, I always had a tape playing in the car on the road from city to city. As I start this new adventure in music, I wanted to pay homage to the hip hop and reggae artists that motivated me throught… pic.twitter.com/ORwG3CN0nR

The legend also took a dig at Hogan’s habit of tearing his shirt by saying, “So before you rip your shirt, might wanna put your ear to this earth.” At another stage he said, “Always backstage with your pile of chicken and don’t ever give the rub,” and with this he took a shot at the theory that Hulk wasn’t someone who used to be in favor of getting other superstar’s over.
Taking a dig at Hollywood Hogan for lying a lot of times in his career, Rikishi said, “Now the world’s getting out with all the lies you told.” In fact, these are just some of his insults towards The Hulkster from the latest diss track, and amid these aspects, it has quickly become a highly-discussed thing among the WWE fans.
Rikishi’s diss track has grabbed fans’ attention
As soon as Rikishi dropped the diss track on social media, it grabbed the attention of the WWE Universe, and pro wrestling fans started sharing their reactions to this song. Sharing how this is probably his way of remembering the late Iron Sheik, someone said, “I love they’re keeping this alive for sheik.” (Via: X)
Pointing out how this song from the the Anoaʻi family member was something nobody from the community would have expected, an audience member wrote, “This is a wild time to be in.” “This is hilarious,” another professional wrestling enthusiast commented after the Hall of Famer’s latest track for The Hulkster.
Why did Rikishi diss Hulk Hogan to pay tribute to Iron Sheik?
A lot of people are surprised by the fact that Rikishi diss Hulk Hogan to pay tribute to Iron Sheik, but there’s a reason behind it. Dedicating the song to the late pro wrestler and dissing Hogan are correlated, as Sheik spent much of his career and retirement time talking trash about The Hulkster.
The veteran often went out of his way to make fun of Hollywood Hogan and insult him on social media. Continuing this trend of his former manager, Rikishi has probably dissed Hulk in his latest song to honor the wrestling legend by continuing his tradition of dissing the WWE veteran.
The story of the song title is that the former Tag Champ was managed by Sheikh when he was portraying the character of The Sultan, and that’s why he chose it as the song title. But that persona had nothing to do with Hogan, as he was still part of WCW when Rikishi was working in the Stamford-based promotion during 1996–97, and that’s why fans are a bit surprised by this track.
Amid the kind of insult that has been given to the legendary in-ring worker, the entire industry has taken note of the diss. Even though Hulk Hogan hasn’t yet responded to Rikishi’s track, but looking at history of beefs with fellow workers, it’s highly likely that whenever he does, his reply will take this thing to an upper level and create a buzz on the internet.
