John Cena is the man who can spice things up inside the WWE ring with his massive popularity. Fans are happy to see his back-to-back appearances inside the squared circle. However, the recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown did not end well for the WWE audience.
The blue brand saw John Cena team up with AJ Styles to take on Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. All the big names also prepared themselves for Fastlane via a contract signing. However, The Bloodline stars had a different plan. They assaulted AJ Styles, putting him in an ambulance.
As a result, John Cena is now left without a partner for Fastlane. To make matters worse, Solo and Jimmy brutally beat Cena. The fans did not like the segment and took to X to express their dissatisfaction with the “Terrible ending.” Another fan wrote, “I expected a save,” talking about LA Knight.

Other users on X pitched for The Rock to appear and said, “Bro why did the rock not come out.” Another fan gave an extremely unusual pitch and wrote, “solo should be arrested and Jimmy also.” Many speculations have also come to light about Randy Orton‘s return to the WWE ring at Fastlane.
John Cena will face Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso at Fastlane
It’s probably after quite a long time that John Cena has returned to WWE for a great storyline. With WWE Fastlane just around the corner, it would be incomplete without Cena. Fans had been excited for the PLE after Cena and AJ Styles were announced to go against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.
The tag team match is now confirmed for Fastlane. However, the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown brought some changes to the duo of Styles and Cena. Not only did The Bloodline members send Styles to an ambulance, but they also compelled Cena to drop flat on the ring.
Jimmy @WWEUsos, @WWESoloSikoa and @JohnCena have all signed the contract for #WWEFastlane… ✍️
But, without a partner in Cena’s corner, will this match still happen? 👀#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/Ijwihapzp2

The seriousness of the injury to Styles is not yet confirmed. This raises a question about his appearance at the upcoming PLE. Only time will reveal if all this was a kayfabe to bring another star to partner with John Cena at Fastlane. Until then, keep your minds open to pitching in better storylines for the star for the first PLE after the WWE-UFC merger.
