The year 2023 has been marked with myriad events in NFL where some people have suffered relegation from their posts while many also had multiple opportunities to unleash their unbound potential. Many coaches have been cut out from the teams’ lists in 2023. This year many high-profile franchises have terminated their associations with their long-time commitments with their head coaches.
The exceptional incessant 23-year-long career of the Patriots’ coach ended this year. With the Patriots‘ lost form and antediluvian tactics, unfortunately, the owners had no option but to fire the coach. This year multiple high-end teams got knocked off in the first week of January. This includes the Colts, Patriots, and Sea Hawks. Football is a game of results.
Consequently, many managers and head coaches have been released from their duties from multiple revered franchises of the NFL. This includes Josh McDaniels of the Las Vegas Raiders. He left the Raiders in a pathetic shape with a score of 9-16. Even the Carolina Panthers have terminated their tumultuous association with their manager Frank Reich. Even the legendary coach Bill Belichick followed this list.
With a derogatory scoreline, Arthur Smith and the Falcons also parted ways with each other. This year they again failed to qualify for the playoffs for the third consecutive time. This list also has the names of some elitist coaches like Ron Rivera of Washington Commanders, Mike Vrabel of Tennessee Titans, and Pete Carroll of the Sea Hawks.
This firing is consistent even in the Wild Card week of the NFL. The New Orleans Saints have reportedly, pulled the plug on their offensive staff, which includes their long-time offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael. Although their head coach Dennis Allen still has his job safe even after the team fails to cling onto the playoffs.

With Pete Carmichael’s exit from the Saints, the negative streak of termination continues in the league as we approach the third week of January 2024. Orleans has made major amends to their offensive line as the receivers coach Kodi Burns and offensive assistant Bob Bicknell also get replaced. Although many coaches and managers have been reinstated back to their positions.
#Raiders interim GM Champ Kelly has been present for the team’s head coaching interviews this week, per sources, which could be considered a good sign for his candidacy for the full-time job. He’s directly involved in the process.

For the Raiders the new head coach’s post will be taken by Champ Kelly. The Seahawks have also made requests to the Texan OC Bobby Slowik and Lions’ offensive coordinator Ben Johnson to interview for the position of their head coach. Even Bill Belichick might have some futuristic prospects with the Falcons.
Even Titans have opened up new applications for the post of head coach. They reportedly approached Panthers OC Thomas Brown. With these new changes the league will unveil new potentials and new faces will rise to stardom. This year’s amends are anticipated to work well for a few and for others tracing clear trajectories is difficult though.
