Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the greatest fighters to have ever come out of the sport of mixed martial arts. Although he retired from the fight game in 2020 after defeating Justin Gaethje at UFC 254, he continues to appear in several public events and talk shows. The undefeated former champion has also made a fortune from his fights and other sponsorship deals with brands like Reebok, Gorilla Energy Drink, and Toyota.
Not a long time ago, the Dagestani fighter revealed his plans to establish a network of gyms. Khabib has now completely retired from MMA and also stays away from coaching to give more time to his family. He is now dedicated to extending his entrepreneurial pursuits beyond the MMA arena and solidifying his position as a prominent figure in the world of combat sports.

Recently, a video was released showcasing Khabib’s new gym in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Some fans think that the gym can put the UFC’s Performance Institute to shame because of the wide variety of facilities offered by the property.
Khabib’s Gym offers a comprehensive training experience and a range of amenities, including MMA and Jiu Jitsu training, as well as a pool and other facilities. The gym also has a sauna room and open areas.
The UFC’s Performance Institute was established in Las Vegas in 2017 for MMA athletes and coaches from all over the world. In 2019, the second Performance Institute was inaugurated in Shanghai, China. Reportedly, UFC’s Performance Institute in Las Vegas cost $12 million, and the fact that Khabib’s gym is being compared to it is quite a big deal for the MMA legend.
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s other business ventures
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s ventures outside the world of MMA are not limited to his gyms. The lightweight great reportedly has a net worth of $40 million and has invested his money wisely, as he owns a number of ventures now in different sectors.
Khabib’s most popular business venture is his MMA promotion, which he purchased for $1 million. The promotion was previously called Gorilla Fighting Championship, but Khabib rebranded it as Eagle FC. The retired fighter also owns a fast-food restaurant chain called M-Eat by Khabib and has opened a coffee shop in Makhachkala, Dagestan, recently.
Being an athlete himself, Nurmagomedov has launched ‘Fitroo By Khabib’, which makes protein bars that come in various flavors. They are currently targeting the UAE market and have recently launched other products as well.
