WWE SummerSlam 2023 witnessed one of the most shocking betrayals in the history of WWE. After Jimmy Uso turned against his twin, Jey Uso, things haven’t been the same between the two. Jimmy has been receiving much attention since then, just as in the recent edition of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown.
Jimmy Uso received multiple opportunities to build a feud with stars such as John Cena and AJ Styles. Amidst this, he also got into a cold war with Mia Yim, the wife of Keith Lee. Jimmy walked up to Adam Pearce in a heated state of mind, who was already talking to Mia Yim.

Ignoring the WWE star, he cut her in between and started talking to Pearce. He didn’t stop here, and after objecting to his actions, he said, “Hello, Anybody talking to you?” This led the fans to believe that Jimmy would soon take on the OC in the weeks to follow.
Jimmy’s particular segment invited a lot of comments from the fans who loved this side of him. “He’s not feeling very UCEY right now,” wrote one fan. “Keith Lee about now,” wrote another, along with a video clip involving Mia Yim’s husband. “This cracked me up ngl,” another fan expressed the reaction of almost all the viewers.
Jimmy Uso and John Cena faced off at the recent episode of SmackDown
John Cena had been the most awaited star of the Friday night. As expected, his presence created the impact that everyone had wished for. He surprised the fans by announcing his WWE Payback 2023 appearance as a host. While the fans could enjoy their time with Cena, Jimmy interrupted them and claimed that the audience was there for him and not John.
Jimmy also gave his take on betraying his brother at SummerSlam. Turning the explanation to a dig, he claimed that the only motive behind him to let Jey Uso lose the match was to save him from being someone like Roman Reigns or John Cena for that matter. He then went ahead to cite the similarities between the two.
The only thing that differentiated the two was that Cena took everything with a smile. “Wrong Uso quit,” said John Cena, which left everyone losing their calm. Cena then landed Jimmy flat on the ground via an ‘Attitude Adjustment’. The segment was highly appreciated by everyone present in the audience. This also sowed the seeds of a probable rivalry that may arise between the two stars.
