The WWE Universe was taken aback after Jimmy Uso marked his way to SummerSlam only to turn against his blood – Jey Uso. Following the storyline left at SummerSlam, Jimmy confronted Jey and revealed that his sole motive to interrupt him was to prevent him from being corrupt like Roman Reigns.
Ever since then, fans have tried to bring out the loose ends of the story to find their reason for the course of action. WWE veteran, Konnan spoke on the ‘Keepin’ It 100′ podcast and gave his probable lead on the storyline. He claimed that Jey Uso lost the match since everyone was waiting for The Rock to show up.
In the eyes of Konnan, WWE had an opportunity with Jey Uso to dethrone Reigns. “If you’re waiting for The Rock or you know that he’s coming, then this was a good move,” he said. The only reason for Roman to retain his title is that The Rock is coming up next to confront the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
As an audience member, Konnan was himself expecting The Rock or Rikishi to show up in the family feud. However, nothing of that sort happened on the d-day. Instead, Jimmy Uso‘s antic left everyone in shock, especially his twin brother.
Jey Uso quits WWE and is now in the Alumni section on WWE’s official website
The Bloodline has seen multiple betrayals in the past few months. However, nothing impacted Jey Uso more than Jimmy Uso’s turn against him. His emotions were clearly evident in his eyes when the two Fatu twins met in the ring post-SummerSlam at the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman had a segment at SmackDown that angered an already heated-up Jey. After multiple heated arguments, Mr. Main Event put everyone down. Before walking through the audience, he claimed to have been done with WWE, Bloodline, and SmackDown. Everyone considered it to be a massive part of the storyline before Triple H’s company put him in its alumni section.

The WWE Universe can’t absorb the sudden change in things within The Bloodline. Jey’s decision to leave the Stamford-based promotion has invited a lot of confusion amongst the Samoan stars. With Jey’s exit, only one-half of The Usos is left in the division. Jimmy doesn’t have a glorious solo run in the division put his future in WWE in jeopardy.
