Shayna Baszler turned on her dearest friend Ronda Rousey at Money In The Bank 2023 which brought massive waves amongst the WWE Universe. But, if we say that it is exactly what Rousey had been there for in WWE in her second stint? Yes, you read it right. Ronda Rousey will soon leave WWE for another potential UFC run.
Shayna Baszler‘s turning against Ronda Rousey has invited a likely feud between the two close friends. Baszler had been on good terms with Rousey since they ever stepped into professional wrestling and had been there for each other since then. The latter always wanted a feud with her friend and the plan is now put into action. As the two women brawl, the event is expected to mark Rousey’s end of her WWE run.

Dave Meltzer spoke on Wrestling Observer Radio and broke the news to the fans that the former MMA star has given a “hard date” to the WWE management. “The deal is that Ronda has a hard out. She gave a date,” said Meltzer. He also revealed that this had always been the plan with regard to the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.

WWE wanted to do a long tag title reign and build up teases of a Baszler turn, but the company didn’t have time because Rousey has a “hard out.”

With this being said fans must be wondering what her “hard date” is. Unfortunately, the date hasn’t been revealed yet. Dave Meltzer also told the same to his audience. He, however, claimed that the event is going to happen much before WrestleMania. We will have to wait and see when the cards officially turn for ‘The Arm Collector.’
Ronda Rousey’s potential opponents in UFC
Ronda Rousey hasn’t taken any official retirement from UFC and her going back to the promotion is highly probable. Her strength and attitude still linger in the minds of the UFC fans. There are a few names that top the list of going against Ronda Rousey in her second stint with the company.
I’m amazed that as soon as you hit the ground you were already promoting the next fight @TheNotoriousMMA – I def wouldn’t have had the mind to do that. The other fighters, @ufc and media are lucky to have you.

One name that must have struck everybody’s mind when it comes to deciding Ronda Rousey’s opponent is Holly Holm. The duo shared a rivalry that has gone down in history over the past eight years. An undefeated Rousey eventually faced Holm who ended her winning streak and eventually her UFC run with her back-to-back two wins. The loss hit Rousey so much that she went into depression.
It now appears that it’s time for Rousey to take her revenge and shut all the mouths that teased her for her loss.

Another woman that stands as a worthy contender to face Ronda Rousey is Julianna Peña. Being one of the strongest women in the UFC’s current Bantamweight division, Julianna is sure to give a tough fight to the WWE star. As the competition among the division is set to increase, Peñe will try her best to retain the top spot that she has achieved with her excellent skillset.
