The Judgement Day’s Rhea Ripley is arguably the most important member of the faction and has had a significant role to play in the immense success the stable has achieved. The Eradicator is also the WWE Women’s Champion, and her title reign has been one of the most dominant in recent times.
The Mami won the championship at WrestleMania 39 by defeating Charlotte Flair and hasn’t really looked back since then. Due to the popularity and dominance she enjoys in the Triple-H-led promotion, many fans wonder if Rhea Ripley is the face of the women’s division in WWE. Let’s check out whether these speculations are really true or not.
Since winning the Women’s title at the Stamford-based promotion’s biggest event of 2023, Rhea has been frequently involved in high-profile storylines. Her on-screen romance with Dominik Mysterio has added a different layer to her dominant character, and fans have poured immense love into their chemistry.
Not only has Ripley defeated top female superstars in the Stamford-based promotion, but she has also made her presence felt in storylines involving male members of The Judgement Day. This is something we don’t usually see, and that’s what makes Rhea have a special personality.
With the way she has managed to remain a prominent women’s figure over the last few months, it’s pretty hard to argue over the fact that Rhea Ripley is currently the face of the women’s division in WWE. It remains to be seen what’s next for The Eradicator in the Triple-H-led promotion.
Rhea Ripley and The Judgement Day are the cover stars of WWE Payback
After a successful SummerSlam, the Stamford-based promotion’s next Premium Live Event will be WWE Payback. The company’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, recently revealed the official poster for the event, and Rhea Ripley and The Judgement Day are the cover stars for the upcoming PLE.
The poster features WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio, MITB briefcase holder Damian Priest, and Finn Balor. The Game revealed the poster for WWE Payback on Wednesday, August 9, through his official ‘X’ handle. Making the announcement, Triple H wrote, “On September 2, live from Pittsburgh… Payback is coming. #WWEPayback @peacock @WWENetwork.” (Via: X)
The Triple-H-led promotion will organize the WWE Payback PLE during Labor Day Weekend on Saturday, September 2. The event is scheduled to be held at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Until now, no match has been confirmed for the event, but we’ll surely witness interesting storylines and matchups as we get closer to the premium live event.
Looking at the cover poster for the upcoming event, it seems that Rhea Ripley and The Judgement Day will have a major role to play at WWE Payback. It’ll be interesting to see how the stable will make their presence felt, however, one thing that’s guaranteed from them on the road to Payback is great storytelling.
