WWE and UFC have both established themselves as billion-dollar companies. Both industries attract a tremendous amount of audience making their popularity extend beyond their reach. While UFC has brought spine-chilling action inside the Octagon, WWE doesn’t fall behind in keeping the fans at the edge of their seats with enthralling matches.
All the stars working for their individual companies give their all inside the arena. The stars of the two industries however receive millions for their performances. Let’s compare the highest-paid stars from both WWE and UFC and which of the two is beneficial to work under.
Talking about UFC, Conor McGregor receives the maximum salary from the company. As per the latest records, ‘The Notorious’ receives a whopping amount of $30+ million. He last appeared inside the Octagon in July 2021 but had to be carried away after the first round because of a broken tibia. Many of Conor’s fellows feel that this is the end of his career inside the Octagon.
On the other hand, WWE’s highest-paid star is Brock Lesnar. ‘The Beast Incarnate’ has a deal with the company for $12 million. Brock is not a regular appearance holder at the Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. He, however, ensures to attract huge numbers with his sporadic appearances and thus earns the highest with his contract with the company.
Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE was highly influenced by the contract offered to him
Comparing the salaries of top UFC and WWE stars, it is seen that both companies are pampering their employees with huge salaries. In addition to the base salary, WWE also provides bonuses to the stars. It gives them an opportunity to earn more than the fixed salary mentioned in the contract. The deal offered by WWE has also lured athletes to make their way to the WWE such as Brock Lesnar.
WWE and UFC tried their best to prove to be a better choice for Brock Lesnar. He was at the peak of his career then and both companies wanted him to work for them. However, the former proved to put forward a better deal for ‘The Beast.’ With a part-time appearance, WWE was ready to pay him much more than UFC tried to, thus keeping Lesnar to them.
UFC + WWE makes too much sense. Great path to increasing fighter pay.

Brock Lesnar also became an internet sensation when he received $2.5 million for a single appearance in the UFC in 2015 while being signed to WWE. However, with WWE and UFC coming in for a merger, it is expected that the difference in their salaries will be bridged.
