Mixed martial arts is without a doubt among the most rigorous and demanding sports, pushing athletes to their physical limits, and former double champ Conor McGregor is seen in drastic body transformation as a new picture of him surfaces post-training.
Conor has been out of action since he injured his tibia and fibula in a match against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

With a series of reactions from fans, the recent picture of Conor looking in great shape has hyped them altogether. While making a joke, a fan wrote: “Given the faces of the two, Connor must have put a hell of a sparring drill on him just before the photo” (translated from French)
Vu le visage des deux, Connor a du lui mettre une sacrée drill en sparring juste avant la photo 😂 https://t.co/3Vj26DM4DK

As of now, Conor is busy in the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter. McGregor has faced a lot of criticism from fans lately, most of it because of the allegations of sexual assault. The probe is currently underway and no proper action has been taken against him.
With a lot of buzz going around the matchup between Conor and Michael Chandler, the former could get better and improve for future fights. Considering the status of Conor’s USADA deadlines, he might not be competing as soon as early 2024.
Michael Chandler expects Conor McGregor fight to happen in the next six months
McGregor last entered that octagon against Dustin Poirier which resulted in a major injury for him. This later became a problem to him as many speculated that he took medications that are not allowed by USADA in order to heal quickly.
Fans were very anxious to see Chandler and McGregor go one-on-one in the cage. However, the time for “The Notorious” to return is getting closer, leaving many to wonder if the bout will take place at all.
“He’s coming back. Yeah, supposedly, there was a countdown with USADA, six months, and all that other stuff. That’s not for me to choose or decide. People are talking about exemptions, of course, that’s all on the table. All I know is I’m controlling the controllables and I also know that either way, I’m gonna keep on moving forward and I do believe I fight Conor within the next six months..,” Chandler said (via MMA Fighting).
Since McGregor’s recent encounter, Chandler, 37, has met Dustin Poirier in the octagon. Poirier won via rear-naked choke in the third round of their bout in November. Chandler is now facing the most extensive layoff in his 14-year career if he pursues his ambition to face McGregor.
