During an interview with CNBC, Charlotte talked about her injury and how she is recovering faster than expected.
“I’m six weeks out Thursday. I’m ahead of schedule and every day all I can think about is returning to the ring,” stated The Queen. She further said that she was excited to see The Rock back in the company, along with the blockbuster Netflix deal. Flair also stated that she is aiming to become the World Champion for the record 15th time in her career after her comeback.

“All I can think about is getting back and winning that number 15,” said Charlotte on her goals after returning. Fans were happy to see Charlotte return to the ring faster than expected. They speculated that she would be back at WrestleMania or SummerSlam. Some even hoped that she would break her father’s record of being a 16-time World Champion.

Charlotte had to be helped backstage after becoming hurt during her match. The Queen was eventually found to have a damaged meniscus, MCL, and ACL. She would need to undergo surgery for it. Scared of the unknown but also feeling like I’m losing what I’m most proud of and that’s being an athlete,” Charlotte Flair wrote. Due to her injury, Flair was forced to face her physical frailty, something she despised. Charlotte said that she was feeling weak, both cognitively and emotionally, because it was a new feeling for her.
It offered Charlotte a wild trip as 2023 drew to a conclusion. With 2024 in sight, Flair is determined to be a part of the WWE again. Having a lot of support from her fans and family, she is ready to make a comeback better than ever and is focused on being a more complete athlete.
