SUMMARY
- Vince McMahon has been accused of s*xual assualt and s*x trafficking by former WWE employee, Janel Grant.
- Due to the lawsuit against him, Vincent has officially resigned from the TKO Group.
Vince McMahon has been facing a lot of backlash ever since Janel Grant filed a s*xual assault lawsuit against him. In what has emerged as one of the biggest controversies in WWE history, this suit by the former employee has taken the whole Stamford-based promotion by storm.
Due to the seriousness of the allegations, Vincent has officially resigned from TKO. Alongside this, the 78-year-old has simultaneously given his resignation from all roles in WWE. But years before his exit for the s*x trafficking lawsuit, Mr. McMahon revealed exactly how he’d prefer to retire from the company.
The Stamford-based promotion veteran shared this during a conversation with Playboy Magazine back in 2001. As the interviewer asked him if he’d write a death scene for his alter ego for his retirement, Vince had a strange answer. Kenneth said, “A death scene? No, that wouldn’t be reality. Unless, you know what? I believe in the laws of nature.”
“When it’s time for me to go, I would like to be devoured by the biggest, baddest carnivore that ever walked the face of the earth. And I’d like that son of a bitch to get indigestion and vomit my remains back up,” he added. Him sharing such comments was surprising, but that’s literally what Mr. McMahon said in 2001.
What are Janel Grant’s allegations against Mr. McMahon?
While it’s true that Vincent made these comments 23 years before his TKO exit, what probably led to his departure were Janel Grant’s allegations. The former WWE employee accused Mr. McMahon of using her for s*xual pleasure, and even claimed that he used her to sign a former UFC Champion to the promotion.
In addition to this, Grant also named John Laurinaitis in the lawsuit and mentioned that he and Kennedy used her for s*x. As the allegations she has made are extremely serious, even Triple H was asked about this entire matter during the conference after the Royal Rumble 2024.
Jon Alba and then Brandon Thurston asked Triple H the Vince McMahon lawsuit question.
His answer was: “I don’t even want to get bugged down in the negatives, just want to focus on the positives.”

In his answer, The Game shared that he got to know about this at the same time as everyone else did. But Janel’s lawsuit contradicts this statement, which has increased the uncertainty of the reality of this s*x trafficking saga even further.
Vince McMahon has denied Janel Grant’s allegations
Even though the WWE universe is really uncertain about what to believe in the context of this lawsuit and who the victim is, Vince McMahon has strongly denied the accusations of Janel Grant and claimed that he’s truly innocent.
The 78-year-old did this while resigning from the TKO Group, as he shared his side of the s*x trafficking saga. In his statement about the lawsuit, Vincent claimed that all the allegations that have been put against him are obscene, made-up instances that never occurred. Vince also revealed that he’d vigorously defend himself against these accusations.

With such comments, Mr. McMahon has made it clear that he’ll be working on clearing his name. But if he’s telling the truth, what about Janel Grant’s lawsuit? Is all that really a made-up story? As the investigation continues, we’ll probably find out the reality in the near future.
