A lot has been going on in Ionescu’s personal life since she got engaged to her long-term partner Hroniss Grasu. The two got engaged in the month of January, and Ionescu took to her Instagram to post a heartwarming picture.
Furthermore, the New York Liberty Star also revealed wedding plans on the CBS morning show. She announced that she would be walking down the aisle with Raiders center Grasu in a couple of months. Ionescu said, “The wedding will happen in the offseason. So at least that’s good. My fiancé plays football so we don’t have a whole lot of time where we’re both off”.

Ionescu made her debut in professional basketball in 2020 after being picked by New York Liberty. Just in her 3-year-long career, she has already made her mark. She is the first player who recorded over 500 points, 200 rebounds, and 200 assists in a single season of WNBA. On the other hand, her fiancé Grasu is making a mark in his football career.
Grasu began his career in the NFL in the year 2015 and has been a force to be reckoned with since then. He has donned various jerseys and currently is playing at the center position for the Las Vegas Raiders. Grasu’s love and dedication for football have been prominent since his college days. Notably, he won First-Team All-American twice, and 3x First-Team All-Pac.
