LeBron James created history last night after climbing to the top of the all-time scoring list in the NBA. This marks the end of the 38-year-long record of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. It is a passing of the torch from one Lakers legend to another. All dwell in the celebration of what King James has accomplished tonight. However, Skip Bayless lit the match to compare him to Michael Jordan on a night it is meant to be celebrated by the NBA.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers hosted Oklahoma City Thunder in a fully packed Crypto.com Arena. Huge attendance to witness history, and among those were some well-known celebrities in the audience. Shannon Sharpe also made his way to see LeBron break Kareem’s record. Skip, as usual, didn’t waste a minute after congratulating him on Twitter, to remind him that Michael Jordan is still the GOAT.

CONGRATULATIONS, LEBRON JAMES.

After the game, Shaquille O’Neal of NBA TNT asked if he thinks now he is the GOAT in the post-game interview. “Listen, big fella, me personally, I’m gonna take myself against anybody who has ever played this game, but everyone’s gonna have their favorite, everyone’s gonna decide who their favorite is…” said LeBron. “I always feel like I’m the best ever to play this game but there’s so many other great ones, and I’m happy to be a part of the journey.” Continued LeBron.

Skip Bayless compares LeBron James’ stats to Michael Jordan’s in the GOAT debate

Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe host the Skip and Shannon: UNDISPUTED. Out of them, the latter was present in the audience to witness LeBron pass Kareem’s record. Skip after his congratulations for LeBron piled a bunch of Stats to prove Michael Jordan is the “RUNAWAY GOAT”.

LeBron has played 338 more games than MJ did. Yet MJ won 10 scoring titles to LBJ’s 1. MJ: 3 steals titles to LBJ’s 0. MJ: DPOY & 9-time 1st team all D to LBJ’s 5. MJ 5-4 in MVPs. MJ 6-0 in Finals, 6 MVPs. MJ averaged 8 assists in ’89. MJ FTs 84% to LBJ’s 74. MJ: RUNAWAY GOAT.

Skip has earned himself a reputation for going after LeBron James for anything he does. He does acknowledge the efforts of LeBron and his greatness from time to time. However, he also never fails to remind him despite his best effort, Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time. As for the stats, they look in the favor of Jordan. Nonetheless, LeBron’s greatness cannot be overlooked after tonight’s record-breaking performance.
