NBA Playoffs Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semi-final between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks tipped off at the Wells Fargo Center. Trae Young and co came in with the motive of earning a 2-0 lead in the series but MVP Nominee, Joel Embiid wanted to help keep his team’s chance of a ring alive.
Game 2 saw fire light up on both ends and was a match that kept fans on the edge but Joel Embiid brought a sigh of relief to the 76ers fans when they started cruising to a comfortable 16 point victory that tied the series.

Trae Young: The Coldest Villain Of The NBA Playoffs
In the First quarter of the game, Trae Young is fresh from a series that turned him into what people like to call a ‘cold villain’. Trae pulls the momentum towards the Hawks in the first half. Ice Trae came out all guns blazing with his crazy handles, accurate passes and sharp shooting and put up 25 points and seven assists in the first half.
Trae Young also had support from the duo, John Collins and Bogdan Bogdanovic. The Duo put up a combined 42 points and 8 rebounds. At this point the game looked like it was in the hands of Trae Young and co, However, every villain must be stopped, at least that was Embiid’s motto in this game.
Joel Embiid And Shake Milton Light up Wells Fargo Center
Joel Embiid might not have won MVP this year but this star is telling us why he deserves to go all the way to win a ring. Embiid was on fire tonight and was a major reason for the 76ers victory. The MVP nominee put up 40 points had 13 rebounds and 2 assists. He led the game in both points scored and rebounds collected. Danny Green had a total of 8 assists.
Shake Milton also played an important role in the victory with his 32 footer and 14 points, providing Joel Embiid with some good support. It was also Milton’s buzzer-beater and long-range threes that pushed the 76ers over the line
The 76ers took over the second half of the match putting up 34-29 in the third quarter and 27-18 in the fourth. With this victory and the series tied both teams will be looking forward to taking the one up in game 3. Game 3 is all set to tip-off on the 11th of June at 7:30 PM (ET). Will Ice Trae come out on top or will big man Joel Embiid take his team one step closer to the championship? We’ll have to wait and see.
