Joel Hans Embiid is a Cameroonian Professional Basketball Player born on March 16, 1994, who also holds French and American citizenship.

He plays for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

He started as a college basketball player with the Kansas Jayhawks, he was drafted third overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2014 NBA draft. In the 2016-2017 season, he debuted and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
