Stephen Curry, probably the most excellent shooter in NBA history, is competing in the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He came in as one of the favorites to eventually win the coveted crown.
The American Century Championship is an annual event held at Edgewood Tahoe Resort that matches celebrities and famous athletes against each other on the golf course, with players competing over 54 holes in a modified Stableford style.

Curry had what appeared to be a quite challenging putt on the par-3 12th hole. It was a long, left-looping path to the hole that looked like destined for a two-putt, but Curry had other plans. The sharpshooter found the ideal line, added control, and watched the ball roll exactly in.
What isn’t he good at 🐐

“What isn’t he good at” a Twitter user wrote under the video of the seemingly impossible putt posted online. The comment implied that the NBA legend has been quite successful in multiple ventures. He was recognized as one of Golf Digest’s “50 Top Athletes in Golf” in 2018, a list that honors prominent individuals who have a love for the game and have excelled at it.
Stephen Curry is not only a shooter who’ll inspire many generations to come but also a great golfer when it comes to celebrities playing the sport.
Stephen Curry hit JR Smith’s celebration after hitting a shot on the first try
Warriors guard Steph Curry is having an absolute blast at his annual trip to the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. He recently hit the unthinkable putt that had made fans question Steph’s choice of sport, and then he was seen doing what he does best.
Curry made a long-range shot during his practice round on Thursday after picking up a basketball next to one of the tee boxes. Obviously, he splashed it on the first try.

And then he hit the former NBA star shooter, JR Smith’s signature celebration by bending to one knee and raising three fingers from each hand.
Throughout his 16-year NBA career, Smith frequently displayed similar celebrations in front of Curry. From 2015 to 2018, he played a major part in Cleveland’s four consecutive NBA Finals clashes against the Warriors.
Curry will stay on his vacation at Lake Tahoe once the competition starts on Friday. He will play in a group along with his father Dell and brother Seth at 9:06 a.m. Pacific Time.
