During this, O’Neal was asked about where he is following LSU these days to which he responded by saying, “Well the boys suck so I’m not following but I’m definitely following the girls.” He continued to talk about how women’s basketball is rising extremely well.
Furthermore, O’Neal revealed that last week for the first time he watched all the girls’ games. Furthermore, he emphasized that women’s college basketball “It’s just a better game, just more competitive,” than the men’s. In addition to this, O’Neal talked about the significant increase in viewership and stated that it is well deserved. “It was my first time ever seeing the girls’ game way more packed than the boys’ game, but it was actually a good feeling,” he said while talking about the time he went to LSU to watch Reese play.

However, for the Women’s basketball Final Four, he said the perfect bracket “would be Iowa, LSU, South Carolina and USC, if it’s possible.” It doesn’t come as a surprise that the former NBA player predicted NCAA women’s basketball Final Four accurately for two teams.
South Carolina is set to face NC State on April 5, at 7 p.m. ET, and UConn vs. Iowa will start at 9:30 p.m. ET. It would be interesting to witness which teams make it to the 2024 NCAA Tournament and ultimately take the title of Champion to home.
