There has been a lot of good news regarding Bronny James lately and the going has only gotten better. Back in July, the 19-year-old faced a life-threatening situation after suffering from a cardiac arrest during a USC Trojans practice session. At that time, several athletes of his age or younger were already losing their lives due to heart-related issues. It was certainly a scary time for the world to deal with but James recovered quickly.
A James family representative recently announced that the USC Trojan was cleared for a return. They said, “Bronny James is now cleared by his doctors for a full return to basketball. Bronny will have a final evaluation with USC staff this week, resume practice next week, and return to games soon after. The James family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible medical team, the entire USC community, and especially the countless friends, family, and fans for their love and support. Fight On!”
This statement on LeBron James‘ son’s health filled the hearts of fans with joy and relief. Generally, athletes with heart conditions have never been able to make a full-fledged return. This was a concern revolving around Bronny’s health. However, the basketball gods have blessed him abundantly.
Bronny James is available for the USC vs. Long Beach State game
Bronny James decided to commit to the University of Southern California in May 2023. This marked a pivotal moment in the James clan’s storyline and in Bronny’s life. Besides being a basketball star, James has been actively participating in the world of E-Sports and various other fields. Fans have seen Bronny grow up through the years. This also makes them proud that he’s going to be able to play again.

After almost a week and a half, USC has already upgraded his status and he’s available to play for their upcoming game against Long Beach State.

While Bronny James prepares to make his official college debut, USC Head Coach Andy Enfield shared some insight into the youngster’s progress. According to CBS Sports, he said, “Everybody’s excited to see Bronny on the court. The fans, teammates, everybody around our program and university. Bronny’s done a great job of mentally and physically getting back to this point and I think he’s very anxious to get back to full-time playing. We’re excited to watch him play.”

LeBron James also acknowledged that his son will be making his debut soon, with an Instagram story. The King has been one of his son’s biggest supporters through recovery. LeBron was spotted at various medical institutions with Bronny getting tests done. The Los Angeles Lakers forward also gave constant updates on social media as well.
