Klay Thompson has his name in a special place in the NBA record books. There are a million reasons why the Golden State Warriors have him around to this date. To begin with, his offensive presence is second to none without Stephen Curry in the picture. As this is their situation at the moment, KT has been upping his game on the regular to help the Dubs remain a threat.

The Warriors have been maintaining a decent pace ever since Curry’s exit. They are currently the 7th seed in the Western Conference with a record of 30 wins and 30 losses. Klay Thompson has contributed a lot toward their victories over the last month. His most recent game had him score 42 points along with 7 rebounds. The forme 4x NBA Champion pulled off an incredible career feature as well.
Klay Thompson records a never been done before-career feature
Klay Thompson became the only player in the history of the league to record 12+ three-point field goals in multiple games. He is widely regarded for his insane shooting skills and is placed among some of the top shooters all-time. Speaking on his own performance, Thompson shared a very down-to-earth message to the media.

He said, “It’s been up and down, it’s been a rollercoaster. But I’m out here doing what I love and that’s way better than watching from the sidelines. I’m not satisfied with just having a great new year performance. I want to sustain this all the way until June. I’ll enjoy celebrating this tonight cause I did something no one else has ever done before… I’m so hungry to be great. I’ll never be satisfied.”

Since the start of this season, Klay Thompson received a lot of criticism for his underwhelming performances. Some blamed him for the Warriors’ brief downfall. But in all due fairness, Thompson was sluggish mainly due to being away from competitive basketball for nearly two and a half years.
But he has ramped up his contributions averaging 21.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. His first game of 2023, Klay Thompson scored 54 points. Earlier this month, he has another 42-point game in which he recorded 12 three-pointers as well. If the Warriors manage to get themselves out of the play-in brackets, it would be all thanks to Klay’s efforts.
