DJ Khaled seemed very happy about the Miami Heat’s comeback against the Denver Nuggets in Game 2. Coming into this finals matchup, the Heat was expected to open fire and dominate. But the Nuggets were able to take an early lead to assert their dominance as well.
Miami is a team that works best under pressure as you would have noticed against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Boston came back from a 0-3 deficit and won three games before losing to the Heat in Game 7.
Nikola Jokic and his teammates have been playing very well by taking up specific roles to support the former 2x MVP. The Nuggets play far better when Jamal Murray scores more than 20 points. However, he recorded only 18 points in 39 minutes. The Joker has an explosive game offensively finishing with 41 points and 11 rebounds. But that was as far as their offense would take them, to a 108-111 loss.

Three players from the Heat’s starting lineup scored more than 20 points. Gabe Vincent led the offense with 23 points backed up by a combined total of 42 points from Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Unlike Game 1, Miami shot better from the field as well. They had the lowest free throw attempts in NBA Playoff history with just two in the previous game. DJ Khaled seemed proud of the Heat as he lit up a cigar to celebrate their Game 2 comeback.
Which NBA team does DJ Khaled support?
Every team has a Celebrity supporter that stays loyal and represents them. Spike Lee is famously known as a New York Knicks superfan. Similarly, Drake is also known for being a loyal representative of the Toronto Raptors organization. That is exactly what DJ Khaled means for the Miami Heat. He has been a supporter of the team for several years.

DJ Khaled attends Heat games very often and sits courtside to cheer for the players. He is a very good friend of Head Coach Erik Spoelstra, who believes that Khaled’s presence is very moving, disruptive, and physical in various ways. Even Bam Adebayo once said, “He has that mentality of, ‘I’m here for a reason.'” This means that the award-winning rapper and producer makes sure that Heat players know that they’re being supported throughout the way.

DJ Khaled became famous among fans after one particular interaction with Max Strus during last year’s Heat vs 76ers playoff series. He grabbed a loose ball that went out of bounds. Khaled gave Strus a short rub on the shoulders before handing over the ball, keeping him motivated. Of course, the moment was captured on camera and it went viral.
