Victor Wembanyama‘s crew has not offered an apology to Britney Spears for the purported Wednesday night smack that she allegedly endured from a member of his security crew. At the Catch cuisine inside the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas, Spears was having dinner with her husband Sam Asghari and a couple of pals when she identified Wembanyama and pitched for a picture. Spears patted Wembanyama on the shoulder, and in response, his bodyguard Damian Smith shoved her, punched her in the face, and knocked her to the sidewalk, according to TMZ.
Spears reported the occurrence to the police force, and she subsequently addressed it on social media. She reported that the incident “traumatized” her, and she demanded a public apology from Wembanyama and his entourage. “I don’t know why security felt the need to approach me in such a way,” she wrote. “I was simply trying to take a photo with someone I admire.”

Wembanyama’s group has not yet made any official pronouncements concerning the altercation as of Friday morning. Mathew Rosengart, Spears’ attorney, announced that he is “exploring all legal options” to take down Wembanyama and his crew.
Fans of Spears have vented their indignation and unmitigated wrath over the purported incident on social media, showing solidarity for her. Additionally, they have sought repentance from Wembanyama and his crew as well as penalties from the NBA.

The uproar war of words encompassing the purported assault of his spouse by Victor Wembanyama’s security personnel has been broached by Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari. Asghari denounced the brutality in an assortment of Instagram Stories and demanded that the security guard be charged and held liable.
“I am opposed to violence in any form, especially without justification in the defense of yourself or someone else who is unable to defend themselves,” Asghari wrote. “Self-defense can be unavoidable, but the defense of any woman, especially my wife, is not debatable.” ( h/t via Billboard)

Spears allegedly confronted Wembanyama in a Las Vegas restaurant on Wednesday night, which is when the purported attack took place. The security guard allegedly retaliated to her tapping him on the shoulder for his undivided interest by punching her in the face. Spears wasn’t gravely wounded, but the experience left her traumatized.
“I hope that this incident will serve as a wake-up call to everyone who has ever thought it was okay to treat a woman with disrespect,” Asghari wrote. “We will not stand for it.”
Wembanyama has not responded to the penalties, however, Damian Smith, one of his private security personnel, has conveyed contrition to Spears. Smith claimed he erroneously mistook Spears for someone else in the throng and responded erratically when she touched Wembanyama on the shoulder.
