Justin Pippen is definitely the next in line to carry Scottie Pippen’s legacy. As a player, Scottie played for one of the biggest teams in the league during the 90s. He had a very sharp mind and pulled off great career features while playing alongside a few other NBA greats. Throughout his 17-year career, Pippen had the heart of a fierce competitor, which was what made him so successful as well.
Just like Justin and Scottie, the basketball community has come across many father-son duos like them. For example, Bronny and LeBron James, Kiyan and Carmelo Anthony. Even Scottie’s ex-teammate, Michael Jordan’s sons tried their hand at basketball and found some success in it. Aside from Justin Pippen, his elder brother has already entered the big stages. Scottie Pippen Jr. had an incredible journey leading up to his professional debut.

In 2020, Pippen Jr. made his professional debut after going undrafted. He managed to land a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. Things did not necessarily work out between him and the organization which he why they chose to waive him. Even then, he has been trying his best to earn his spot on the main stage. Soon Justin will also be making a run to keep his father’s legacy alive. But to match six NBA titles, multiple defensive accolades, and three gold medals is quite the challenge.
Justin Pippen received an offer from Northern Arizona University
Justin Pippen hasn’t been under the spotlight unlike many of his peers at Sierra Canyon High School. He has played alongside Bronny James, Kiyan Anthony, and other top recruits in the country as well. Justin comes from a family filled with celebrities including his father Scottie and his mother Larsa Pippen. His mother has appeared in various television shows, prominently as a recurring role on “The Real Housewives of Miami” between 2011 and 2022. Justin also made a few on-screen appearances alongside Larsa.
These appearances helped him grow on social media where he has amassed a following of 65.4k followers. Besides basketball, Justin Pippen has shown interest in being a movie star. In 2009, he appeared in a movie called Midgets vs. Mascots. However, he has shown great potential on the court. He recently graduated from Sierra Canyon after which he played in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) for the Stockton Soldiers.

Most of his peers have already committed to various basketball programs across the nation. Bronny committed to the University of Southern California in May 2023. While he hasn’t decided on a college yet, he received an offer from Northern Arizona University. Justin claims that his older brother and father have guided him through the sport and made him a great player.
