The Boston Celtics are fighting back folks. After going down three games to zero to the eight-seeded Miami Heat team, they’ve stormed back and convincingly won the next two games, thereby forcing a Game 6. Sure, a loss tonight puts them out of the race for the Larry O’Brien trophy but it’s quite clear which side has the momentum going into tonight’s matchup.
The Celtics at one point were down three games to none, which is usually a death sentence according to NBA history. However, they’ve come back to win the next two games, keeping their championship hopes alive.
It’s been a team effort spearheaded by Jayson Tatum‘s 33-point performance in Game 4 and four players scoring 20+ in Game 5. They are still going into Game 6 as the underdogs, but until then let’s go over what we know and can predict about tonight’s matchup.
Jimmy Butler is expected to play in Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics Game 6 tonight
Being expected to play is an understatement. The superstar has gone so far as to guarantee that the Miami Heat will eliminate the Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Who can blame him? Butler has been putting on a show in these playoffs and he looks unstoppable.
Hailed as the son of Michael Jordan himself (as a meme) he is seen exhibiting his proclaimed father’s killer spirit, cutthroat attitude, and a certain clutch gene only possessed by precious few players in our league today. For tonight’s game, Butler is reportedly healthy and ready to send the Celtics home dramatically.

But, on the other hand, all is not lost for Boston. The past two games have been encouraging as they have been won with a significant lead. Jayson Tatum looks energized by the wins and there is no doubt that his supporting cast trumps that of Butlers.
No team in the history of the NBA has ever come back down 3-0, but if there’s one team that can do it, it’s the 2023-2024 Boston Celtics. Here’s a look at how the rosters will be set up for the upcoming Game 6 on May 27th, 2023.

The Miami Heat are favored to win Game 6 against the Boston Celtics and advance to the NBA Finals
Experts predict that Jimmy Butler and Co will be able to close out the series in six. The game is taking place in the Kaseya Center and spurred on by the home crowd, the Heat should have the upper hand.
The Celtics managed to overcome the Heat in Game 5, thanks to a solid effort from Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, and Marcus Smart. To sum it up, it was a collective effort from the Boston-based franchise.
Can they overcome the Himalayan task set upon them and keep playoff Jimmy Butler in check to keep their dreams of a ring this year alive? Find out tonight at 8:30 PM ET.
