James has established a museum aptly named “LeBron James’ Home Court” to dedicate his journey. The doors of which opened on November 25 for the public.

Furthermore, it has endless memorable things that capture the essence of his inspirational journey. From a re-creation of the house in which he grew up to his 2x Olympic Gold medal, the museum encloses everything that makes fans’ experience worthy. Notably, it allows the visitors to take a self-guided tour of the museum.
Additionally, fans would be given a personal key to open the doors to the re-creation version of Spring Hill Apartment No. 602. To capture the very essence of the house, mail addressed to LeBron’s mother Gloria James is also present. Along with this, fans would be able to have a look at the original TV. Furthermore, it also has the college offer letters that James did not accept as he announced his NBA draft out of high school.
LeBron James fulfilled his dream to put his hometown on the map
LeBron James has been on a mission to give back to the community in Akron, Ohio as long as fans can remember. His esteemed ‘LeBron James Family Foundation‘ has various programs such as ‘I Promise School‘, I Promise Housing, etc that help to bring this mission to reality. Even the museum is at the renovated former Tangier restaurant now known as ‘House Three Thirty.‘
Furthermore, James undeniably drew significant attention to his hometown after he established himself as one of the best players. Now, he is putting it on the map as well. In a statement, he said, “My dream was always to put Akron on the map.” The museum is now set to be one of the biggest tourist attractions in Akron, Ohio.
He continued, “So to have a place in my hometown that allows me to share my journey with my fans from all over the world means a lot to me.” James has also revealed how all these years he was known to keep a lot of things close to himself. However, he knew there would be a time and place to bring those out.
The generation admission ticket to the museum is $23
The museum has numerous iconic memorabilia from LeBron James’ NBA career. Such as his four championships, two Olympic Gold medals, oversized all-white suit from his draft, etc. James being a fan-favourite has received an endless amount of appreciation from the fans in the form of letters, gifts, etc. The basement of the museum has a dedicated wall which is decorated with fans’ letters.
Furthermore, even the generation admission ticket is a nod to his jersey number 23. Notably, all of this money would go back to House Three Thirty’s job training program. It is fascinating how James has made yet another way to give back to the community.
