Mikey Williams is not your ordinary high schooler who plays the sport of basketball. He is one of the most successful ones out of the lot. The 18-year-old high school athlete has proven himself to be one of the best offensive players in the game. Mikey has already played great basketball. Some of his scoring accolades are comparable to the ones of NBA players as well.
In high school, when he played for San Ysidro, he averaged 29.9 points as well as 6.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. At the start of his career at San Ysidro, he had an insane 41-point game which was followed by a 50-point piece. Soon William would become unstoppable and he went on to shatter the CIF San Diego Section single-game scoring record with a whopping 77 points.
Mikey Williams committed to the University of Memphis where he is expected to play under the leadership of Penny Hardaway. The 6’2 ft combo guard was named the MaxPreps Freshman of the Year and received All-American honors as well. His highlights went viral on social media, gaining him a lot of followers overnight. At the age of 14, he reached one million followers on Instagram. As a result, Williams has also signed some impressive deals.

NIL deals have become extremely popular among high school and college athletes. Mikey Williams has grabbed every opportunity to earn himself good fortune. Currently, his NIL deal earnings are at a staggering $3.3 million. For a high school graduate, Mikey is a very successful person. He currently ranks fourth among the top 100 NIL deal earnings and second among high school athletes.
Mikey Williams became the first ever high school athlete to sign a deal with a major league sports apparel brand. Both parties agreed to a multi-year contract but the value of the deal was not disclosed to the public. Williams’ involvement with the brand will be centered on him inspiring people of his age or the next generation of athletes in the world. His yearly earnings from the deal could potentially be valued at $50,000.

Mikey Williams was also introduced as a partner with Cash App after they began allowing teenagers to manage money with them. Williams seemed like a perfect fit to promote their work. He also signed with I Got It Auction and LaceClips. Mikey will potentially be earning far more in the future. The soon to be Memphis Tiger has a long way to go.
