Mikey Williams is arguably one of the most talented teenagers in the country. The 18-year-old has an extremely impressive game that has reached the masses all across the world. He is a perfect example of a modern basketball player who would fit the description of how the sport is being played today. Williams has only gotten better every year, consistently improving his form in various ways.
At the age of 14, Mikey Williams was already a social media star as his highlights went rival. The youngster competed alongside LeBron James‘ son for the North Coast Blue Chips. Bronny and Mikey were the biggest stars and are considered the country’s best recruits. Williams had somewhat of a different approach to the game of basketball. He was an offensively oriented player who struck out with his fans.

During his freshmen year in school, Mikey went absolutely ballistic on offense. He averaged 29.9 points along with 6.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. Williams also contributed on defense with his slick movement, averaging 1.6 steals per game. Eventually, he earned the MaxPreps Freshmen of the Year tagline. Over the next two years, he averaged 21.2 points and 23.8 points per game. He briefly shifted schools from San Ysidro High School to Norman Lake Christian School but went back to San Ysidro for his senior year.

Mikey Williams was a prodigy in high school. His scoring records can be compared to a professional athlete’s list of accolades. He led his high school team offensively in many games and helped them win as well. In 2019, Mikey scored 41 points during his high school basketball debut. During his following matchups, he continued wreaking havoc as he went on to score 50 points in his second game.
There is one record that might be held by him for a very long time. NBA and basketball fans are big on gifted offensive athletes. Mikey was able to score 77 points in a game, breaking the record previously set by Tyrone Shelley. He set the record for most points scored in a single game for the CIF San Diego Section. William led San Ysidro High School to several key victories.
Throughout his high school career, Mikey accumulated a total of 1,705 points. He was a very great three-point shooter and often came in clutch for his team. Mikey will most likely be drafted in 2024 alongside his former AAU teammate, Bronny James. The NBA will have a special place for Williams based on his skills.
