Lewis Hamilton has been struggling to replicate his success from previous years. Mercedes have not been able to provide the British racing driver with a competitive car. This has helped their rivals, Red Bull and Aston Martin, as well. Hamilton has not been able to fight at the front row since the 2021 season and it has left the world questioning whether the credit for his success from the last few years goes to the team’s engineers.
Hamilton went without a win last season, and that has been the case this year as well. However, thanks to his abilities, No.44 has been able to come as close as second, in Australia. At the recently-held Spanish Grand Prix, Hamilton finished second again, and Mercedes teammate George Russell came in third.

One can say the credit goes to the upgrades that the team brought to the W14 before Imola, but the race was canceled due to weather conditions in Italy. Hamilton and Russell looked promising at Monaco, but that was not an ideal track to test out their upgrades. In Spain, their all-new side-pods seemed to have done the trick, considering how both of the Mercedes drivers overtook the Aston Martins with ease.
Although the major credit goes to the drivers and the team, some fans point the finger at the music industry’s finest, Shakira. The Columbian singer was spotted at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Shakira has been linked with Lewis Hamilton in the last few weeks. They were spotted at a Miami restaurant together and the internet was surprised about the possibility of them dating.

In addition to this, Hamilton and Shakira even spent some together on a boat in Miami. It would be safe to claim that they enjoy one another’s company. This has led fans to speculate that they might well and truly be in a relationship. It has only taken heat after Shakira’s appearance at the Spanish Grand Prix.
As mentioned earlier, Lewis has not been able to stand on the podium as frequently as he was once able to. His wish came true in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya recently. This has only led fans to believe that Hamilton performs better when Shakira is present. A fan even tweeted, “Got Lewis acting like Jordan Poole.”

NBA fans would be familiar with this joke. For those who don’t know, Jordan Poole is one of the Golden State Warriors’ key players. He has cemented his place on the Dubs’ roster, but he has had a bad last few months.

Cruise reportedly went the extra mile and claimed that she was his “Dream woman.”

Along with the actor, Shakira has also been linked with Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler in the last few weeks. The singer attended a Miami Heat game and watched Butler play. Some reports even suggested that the pair followed each other on Instagram and this immediately kickstarted the dating speculations. There might be little truth to these rumors, considering Butler is currently in a relationship with Kaitlin Nowak.
Shakira’s relationship status has been heavily talked about. She is a high-profile celebrity on her own and the fact that she is being linked with other famous personalities has helped these rumors. With that said, she has had her fair share of drama in the last few months, mainly the tiring custody battle with ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique. Currently, Shakira lives in Miami with her two sons.
