The Phoenix Suns aren’t looking as good as they were expected to be this season. It almost seems as if their streak of bad luck hasn’t ended just yet. They have only one win coming out of their last five games and their last loss was quite hard to digest. Phoenix is currently battling to stay afloat as they rank 10th in the Western Conference with a record of 13 wins and 12 losses.

Their opponents for the night will be the Washington Wizards. As usual, the Wizards are having a terrible season despite the addition of Jordan Poole and Kyle Kozma’s emergence. Unfortunately, they are short of veteran leaders, which would have been Bradley Beal had he not joined the Suns. They are 14th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 4 wins and 20 losses.
Bradley Beal is not available to start for the Suns vs. Wizards game
Bradley Beal tweaked his ankle during the first quarter of the game against the New York Knicks. Shams Charania reported that Beal is expected to miss a few weeks due to a left ankle injury. Nassir Little (left knee soreness) is questionable while Josh Okogie has been ruled out due to a hip injury. Eric Gordon (lower leg) is listed as probable for the Wizards game.

Will the Suns survive without Bradley Beal in the lineup?
Things have been fairly grim for the Suns lately having experienced four losses in five of their recent games. Despite the awkward slump, Booker is still playing very well averaging 28.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game. Durant has also been one of the best scorers this season averaging 30.7 points per game. However, losing Bradley Beal would not mean much right now as they’ve got players like Nurkic and Allen to support them.

The Wizards haven’t won a game in forever until recently. They have one of their worst runs this season and aren’t expected to move any further up the division. Kuzma and Poole lack a mentor which the Wizards may potentially keep a lookout for soon. The Suns are far better on paper and this shouldn’t be a tough fight for them.
