WWE Legend Triple H has been a behind-the-scenes official for a long time now, but before this, he had already been one of the all-time great performers in the history of the Stamford-based promotion. The Game spent most of his career as a heel, which landed him in a number of controversies throughout his stint as an in-ring competitor.
One such incident happened back in the late 1990s, during WWE’s Attitude Era when Triple H noticed a woman in the crowd while celebrating a win inside the ring. As the fan was doing DX’s signature taunt, The Game demanded she flashes for the audience. She actually did it, thus creating one of the most controversial moments of the Stamford-based promotion’s history.
As a clip of this NSFW segment was shared, fans were quick to react to the video and share how much they miss the attitude Era. Check out some of the best fan reactions to The Game’s NSFW segment during the WWE Attitude Era here:
Remembering the segment a user on X wrote, “GOOD TIMES. Will never get this again.” “What a time to be alive!,” a WWE fan claimed. Another fan said, “When people weren’t so sensitive 😞“. “The fact that I remember when this happened on live tv is wild,” a fan recalled the moment and revealed.
At the time this NSFW segment took place, Hunter was one of the most important members of D Generation X, and this particular moment generated a lot of backlash for Triple H. Whenever we talk about The Game’s most bizarre moments in the WWE, this segment will probably top the list every single time.
WWE Hall of Famer reacted to the Triple H segment
Not just the fans, but a WWE Hall of Famer also reacted to Triple H’s NSFW segment during the WWE Attitude Era. The legendary performer of the Stamford-based promotion was none other than The World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry. Reacting to the vintage video of The Game’s segment, Mark Henry wrote, “I loved the attitude era!!!“
As soon as Henry expressed his love through a tweet, the WWE universe took note of his words and started asking him about what he’s been up to. It must be noted that the 52-year-old WWE legend is no longer a part of the Stamford-based promotion and is now signed to AEW.
Mark Henry works as a commentator, coach, and talent scout at the Jacksonville-based promotion, but he’s best known for his 25-year-long stint in the Triple-H-led promotion. Even though he’s no longer a part of the company, he still shows his love for his previous workplace, as he did while showing his love for the Stamford-based promotion’s Attitude Era.
