The World eagerly awaited an update about the golfer Tiger Woods as he continuously missed multiple tournaments after the Masters. The Golf legend has earned 82 PGA tour wins so far.
In the recent update, the dynamics in the golfing world took a sharp turn on Tuesday when the news of Tiger Woods being the sixth director went public says the PGA Tour.

Tiger Woods the golf legend will be the sixth player-director on the PGA Tour’s policy board formed after the anger of golfers due to the proposed deal between factions of LIV Golf and PGA Tour – golf’s rival in June that Saudi Arabia backs.
Tiger Woods mentioned that he was honored to be given this opportunity. “I am honored to represent the players of the PGA TOUR. This is a critical point for the TOUR, and the players will do their best to make certain that any changes that are made in TOUR operations are in the best interest of all TOUR stakeholders, including fans, sponsors, and players,” he said.

Apart from the legend Tiger Woods, all five players include Rory Mcllroy the Scottish Open champion, Peter Malnati, Patrick Cantlay, 7-time PGA champion Webb Simpson along with Charley Hoffman
Tiger’s Entry will Ensure The PGA Tour is player-driven
The PGA Tour has mentioned that the Woods addition to the board will not only ensure that the tournament remains player-driven but also pointed out that the player directors can chime in with their views about obvious changes in the tour.

The LIV Golf, which is funded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund and two other businesses, combined in June of this year following a deal.
Golf legends such as Sergio Gracia, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, and Bubba Watson have all expressed interest in playing in the LIV. Earlier, Woods was believed to have rejected a $1 billion deal to play on the Saudi tour.
