Lewis Hamilton has made history in Formula 1. While many drivers made records, the Brit unlocked another level and height to his brilliance. However, success can have its ups and downs. While he has 7 titles already, the champion has no plans of stopping until he gets his record-breaking 8th title.
With 196 podiums and 103 race wins to his name, he has more history to make. But recently his dreams have been shattered with the rise of Max Verstappen.
And while Verstappen has been satisfied with being a champion itself, Hamilton has the hunger for more. That was something George Russell, Lando Norris, and Alex Albon did not miss to pounce on and joke about.
Their sarcastic British humor came out as the three talked about being satisfied with a good result and how different it is for the champions. That was when Russell mentioned how Verstappen may not be satisfied with just three championships.
GR: …now max he’s prob not satisfied –
LN: I think he’s very satisfied
AA: I think his bank account is satisfied
GR: lewis as an eg, he wants more than 7 championships
All 3: that’s just GREEDY pic.twitter.com/vHTsWvEXOf— Athena 🏳️🌈 (@tarmactorque) September 30, 2023
However, Lando Norris and Alex Albon jumped and joked about how his bank account was. That is when Sir Lewis Hamilton was mentioned. And the drivers did not miss out on the opportunity to joke about it. Russell said, “Lewis as an example, wants more than 7 championships.” To that, all three, in unison, said “That’s just GREEDY.” Their humor poured out of them as the three sarcastically joked about it.
Lewis Hamilton is more than capable of winning a record-breaking 8th F1 title
Lewis Hamilton has done what no one in the history of F1 has been able to. Not only that but his recent signature to confirm his stay at Mercedes has given the driver hope. With newfound motivation, he has decided to bring his 8th title. After his interview was accused of being the driver and talking about his “unfinished business”. However, for the Brit, he seemed to be sure about his hunger for another dish.
Lewis Hamilton too talked about his 8th title. The driver was clear about his motivation and purpose for joining the sport. The 38-year-old driver will be seen driving even when he is 40 years old. And while the team did not take his advice for the 2023 car, he seems to be optimistic for next year. Mercedes has slowly but surely shown improvements. Although the team may have some prioritization to work on.

As Hamilton steps back his feet at F1 and Mercedes, he is letting everyone know he is not here to play around anymore. The driver has plans to bring Mercedes to its original top place on the standings. Nonetheless, it is only fair to consider that it has been tough for the driver to watch Max Verstappen’s dominance.
