The Mexican Grand Prix withheld one of the most tragic ends to Sergio Perez’s race. That Mexican looked forward to his home race with hopes of winning a podium only to end his race in the very first lap. As the race began, the Mexican was crashed into by Charles Leclerc. The Red Bull car was seen being lifted off the ground due to the crash and soon retired.
Perez was seen on cameras, crying as his car was brought back into the garage. No doubt, it can be one of the most saddening moments in any driver’s career. However, the fans who were en
raged by the situation had other plans. While Perez dealt with the issue at hand as he sobbed in the Red Bull garage, fans caused a scuffle in the stands with Ferrari fans.

A Perez fan who watched his favorite driver being taken out of the race did not hesitate as he landed blows on a Ferrari fan sitting right next to him. The two fans who had come to enjoy the race and their Ferrari team with merch and caps suddenly had a man hitting the two out of anger.
While some took out their phones to record, one got involved and stopped the man from doing any more damage.
Luckily F1 spotted the fan who caused the issue and was banned for life from all the races. However, many left the Mexico GP with a heavy heart either from the race or the fight.
Charles Leclerc endures more hate following Mexican Grand Prix
Although the situation seemed simple to the viewers, the drivers knew the situation at hand was much more complicated. After Sergio Perez was taken out of the race in the very first lap, the driver could be seen crying in the car.
However, Charles Leclerc took the blame for it all. As the race came to an end with Leclerc winning a podium for himself, the driver was upset over many fans booing him.

Sergio Perez fans in the stands made their opinions clear on the situation. So watching Leclerc may not have been the best part of their weekend. However, the fans did not hesitate to let the Monegasque know how they felt about his crash. As he prepared to give an interview, post-race, all the fans booed at him together.

Leclerc himself felt the need to address that situation as he heard the boos. He said there was no space left for him to go and it was completely out of his hands. However, the boos did not stop.
Nonetheless, the Ferrari driver took a P3 finish with Hamilton ahead of him. The two drivers found a way to take back their positions after being disqualified last weekend.
