SUMMARY
- Christian Horner was proven not guilty following a month-long investigation.
- Red Bull unveiled a public statement on the matter, but refrained from revealing any further details into the investigation.
The fate of Christian Horner has taken a shocking turn for the worse only a day after Red Bull cleared the 50-year-old of any misdemeanor. Earlier this year, Horner was under immense scrutiny after an anonymous Red Bull F1 employee accused the leading team principal of indulging in unlawful behavior. An investigation was immediately launched, and it almost seemed like the end of Horner’s career in the sport.
The Milton Keynes outfit took spontaneous actions, including the recruitment of two third-party lawyers. This pretty much established the seriousness of the case. However, as days passed by, the story steadily turned in favor of Horner. The media initially presented the Briton as the main antagonist, but in the end, they significantly changed the story to paint Horner as the victim.
While this raised a bit of suspicion, there was always a high level of trust in Red Bull’s process, considering its stringent actions over the years. And rightfully so, the Milton Keynes outfit revealed a statement earlier this week, acknowledging Horner’s innocence in the case. However, barely a day later, Horner is back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
According to reports, a Google Drive link has been unanimously shared among the paddock which supposedly features the evidence of Horner’s unlawful actions. From here, one can only imagine how the situation could blow up if the alleged ‘evidence’ is after all proven authentic.
Renowned journalist reveals shocking details into Christian Horner drama
According to Jenna Fryer, a journalist currently working at AP Sports, is the first one to break her silence on the matter. And of course, why would a prominent journalist risk their career to reveal something so sensitive? This leaves us wondering, is it actually true?
I cannot ethically share any of this until AP has validated the authenticity of the information. There are enough people on the distribution list that someone will satisfy your urge to see the material soonest.

Nonetheless, here’s what we know so far. Fryer’s tweet reads, “A Google drive containing all the “Christian Horner evidence” has just been emailed from an anonymous account to hundreds of journalists.” She followed the tweet up with several other tweets.
“Correction: In addition to journalists, it is sent to the other team principals, Liberty Media, Stefano Domenicali, and many others. The file contains photos of whatsapp messages and other photos. I cannot ethically share any of this until AP has validated the authenticity of the information. There are enough people on the distribution list that someone will satisfy your urge to see the material soonest,” she added.
Overall, this could well be a rather intriguing turnaround in this never-ending saga led by Horner. If deemed true, could this be the end of Horner and his celebrated journey in Formula 1? Let’s wait and watch how the future pans out.
