SUMMARY
- Bianca Bustamante likes a Albeist tweet against Lance Stroll.
- Bianca claims she accidently liked the post.
Bianca Bustamante was the first female driver to be signed on by an F1 team for the 2024 F1 Academy. She has been McLaren’s cover girl since then. However, a recent social media activity has put her career and reputation at risk.
Bianca took part in the inaugural season of F1 Academy in 2023. She placed 8th in the WDC with PREMA Racing. Bianca is only 18 years of age and is already a motorsport sensation. She became the top 5 most influential female drivers after her signing with McLaren. However, this recent incident might set her career back a bit.
Bianca Bustamante likes anti-Stroll Albeist tweet
Being a motorsport driver for McLaren does not come for granted. There will obviously be a lot of eyes on Bianca and she should be careful not to do something that can offend anyone. In today’s world, that seems like a hectic task.
Bianca liked a tweet that had an Albeist caption. The caption referred to Stroll as “Autism Stroll”. This phrase is considered to be insensitive to many people around the world Autism is a Neurological disorder that makes it difficult for the person to communicate or understand things. Millions of families around the world are affected by this condition.
good luck to mclaren pr team for 2024 it seems like they’ll be quite busy with the drivers they have

Bianca herself has a brother who suffers from Autism and Down Syndrome. Given this fact, it is hard to believe that she liked an Albeist tweet. It is possible that she liked it by accident, or liked it without reading the entire tweet. She is also just 18 years old now and has not received much social media training from McLaren yet. She was announced as a McLaren driver only a few months back.
Her future with McLaren currently remains uncertain. There has been no comment on the matter from McLaren’s side. However, it is unlikely that Bianca will lose her seat at McLaren due to her age and inexperience. But it is safe to say that the team will give her some media training in the following days.
Social media reacts to Bianca Bustamante’s Twitter fiasco
As soon as Bianca liked the tweet in question, social media was quick to worsen the situation for her. In the following hours, she received a lot of hate from the public. A majority of the public placed her in the target zone. However, there was a small group that defended her actions as she was just a young girl who had made a mistake.
The tweet in question actually praised Bianca as a driver and compared her to Lance Stroll saying that he paid his way through to F1. But let’s take a look at what the tweet actually said.
Disappointed in Bianca, but more than that I’m surprised in the way people are defending what she did. Yes I will support women in motorsport no matter what, was a huge fan of her myself. But this girl is chronically online and knows damn well what the word autism means. And even…

“How can you say she’s overrated when you have people who buy their way into the sport like autism Stroll who have talent but if they didn’t have daddy’s money would be replaced instantly. Like don’t say overrated till she gets her shot”
“she hasn’t had media training”
this girl is one day younger than me, common sense should exist by now bfr😭

The tweet was in response to people who called Bianca Bustamante overrated. While the person who tweeted the above phrase was trying to defend her, he did make an Albeist comment on Lance Stroll. Although this person is the one who should be punished, it was Bianca as she liked the post by accident.
Bianca would be hoping that this does not set back her career as a racing driver for McLaren. Women already face a lot of difficulties in motorsport. Unlike other sports, both men and women are allowed to race in F1. As it stands Formula 1 is a male-dominated sport. However, they are trying to bring in more women into racing with the F1 Academy.
