Hans Zimmer, an Oscar-winning composer, and producer, has earned the respect of many artists, including Ferrari racer Charles Leclerc, who lists Zimmer as one of his favorite musicians. The Monegasque driver expressed a desire to work with Zimmer on a musical project in a recent interview. It’s interesting to keep in mind that Leclerc is not unfamiliar with music as he occasionally creates his own songs.
After the Australian Grand Prix earlier this year, Leclerc put out a song titled “AUS23 (1:1),” which became a straight hit and had more than four million plays on Spotify. After the Miami Grand Prix, he released another song, “MIA23 (1:2),” which additionally received a lot of attention and has been streamed over 1.7 million instances on Spotify.

Charles: “Hans Zimmer, the legend of film soundtracks!”#Corriere
The Ferrari driver spoke about his attempt to get into music, saying that even though he was always fond of it, it was not after the COVID-19 pandemic which made him take the decision to explore it further.
Although he believes that his personal artistic talent falls short when compared to the genius composer Hans Zimmer, the latter’s music acts as a source of inspiration for him. In spite of this, he enjoys the creative process and is glad that people like and listen to his songs.
What happened between Christopher Nolan and Charles Leclerc’s favorite artist?
Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer stand as highly acclaimed figures in contemporary cinema, with Nolan renowned for his visually intricate and captivating films, while Zimmer crafts potent and unforgettable musical compositions. Their working relationship began in 2005 with “Batman Begins,” and since then, it has persisted through well-known movies such as “The Dark Knight,” “Interstellar,” and “Dunkirk.“

With the exception of a brief pause during the production of Nolan’s movie “Tenet,” which caught Zimmer’s attention as a fascinating topic, this formidable relationship has persisted for more than 10 years. As the composer explained in an interview, the accidental coupling of “Tenet” and the movie “Dune” forced Zimmer to reject “Tenet,” which got a less-than-enthusiastic reaction from Nolan.
While many were devastated by the end of their collaboration on “Tenet,” there’s no denying that Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan are two of the most gifted individuals working in Hollywood at the moment.
So the German composer isn’t actually on bad terms with Nolan as he continues to work with him. Regardless of the Hollywood drama, it seems like Leclerc’s admiration for the artist stands strong and continues to inspire his musical pieces.
