HeelvsBabyface, a YouTube channel run by Az, has established a unique position in the gaming and Starfield community. The channel has over 340,000 subscribers and over 140 million views. His channel is central for comprehensive game reviews, news, and commentary.
Az has been active on YouTube since 2012, and his channel has experienced a consistent increase in viewership. HeelvsBabyface gained attention in 2021 when Twitter temporarily banned Az for quoting a line from “Game of Thrones.”
So I wanted to see what that guy who screamed about pronouns in Starfield thought about the Hogwarts Legacy boycott and I was not disappointed.

The incident highlighted the platform’s moderation policies, particularly regarding the context in which quotes and references are made. Az’s response to the ban was tinged with his characteristic snark, stating he filled out a form to be unsuspended. But added, “Because you guys can’t take a joke.”
Az’s content spectrum is broad, encompassing genres from MMORPGs like World of Warcraft to action-adventure titles like The Last of Us. His “Az Chats” series has also gained traction, featuring guest appearances from other YouTubers and industry insiders.
He recently released his review of Starfield playing with early access. He expressed his disappointment over the pronoun aspect of the game. Further, he covers the gameplay and reviews the game extensively, including the skills and traits in 5 parts.
HeelvsBabyface melts down over Starfield Pronouns
HeelvsBabyface recently went on a tirade in a video about Starfield’s pronoun selection feature. Moreover, he uses strong language and expresses his frustration. He goes on a rant against the pronoun selection option in the video.
He says, “pronouns gender ambiguity current day Californian cause that’s all we know cause we’re boring.” He accuses the game developers of disrupting the immersive experience by focusing on social issues.
Gorilla-shaped man on the verge of crying because Starfield lets you pick pronouns at the start of the game and then it’s never brought up again.
Somebody please shoot this guy with a bear tranquilizer, he’s going to attack someone https://t.co/FRMJKkhPWS

However, this isn’t the first time HeelvsBabyface has been vocal about such matters. In another video, he supports Hogwarts Legacy, a game that has also faced its share of controversies. He states, “I’m gonna have a lot of fun doing it because I won’t cow Tao cow down to the Mob.” He supports the game despite some people on the political left being unhappy with it and its association with J.K Rowling.
Given his contrasting stances on the two games, the internet quickly labeled him a hypocrite. But the meltdown might have been a calculated move to gain attention. The Act Man, another YouTuber, responded to the controversy, stating, “It’s not about pronouns; it’s about the freedom to express oneself.”

HeelvsBabyface later posted on X that makes his explosive rant look like a publicity move. The admission came after the video garnered significant positive and negative attention across social media platforms. Az stated that the intent behind the video was to spark a broader conversation within the gaming community. The gaming community has been divided over this subject and this division is unappreciated by gamers and streamers alike.
